Direct commission 1963, retired 31 Oct 1983. Specialty was 9216, Nutritionist. Served as primary clinician at USAF Medical Treatments Facility, Maxwell AFB, AL. Served as a course supervisor/instructor at the MEDICAL SERVICE SCHOOL, Gunter AFB, AL and Sheppard AFB, TX. Served as department Officer in Charge/OIC of Dietary Service at USAF Medical Center at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH; USAF Medical Center,Wiesbaden AFB, Germany; USAF Hospital Minot, Minot AFB, ND, and USAF Hospital Fairchild, Fairchild AFB, WA. Had extra duties as Air Training Command (ATC); Strategic Air Command (SAC) and United States Air Forces Europe Command (USAFE) while assigned to hospitals and reportable to the Command Surgeons General. Received National Defense ribbon; Sharpshooters ribbon; Outstanding Unit ribbon and Commendation Medal with one oak leaf cluster. Received several letters of commendation from Command Surgeons General. Achieved Chief, Biomedical Science Corps badge.
